Reacting to a promotional mailer, British Car Auctions invited Creative Republik to a three-way pitch for one of their regular B2B mail outs.
Twice a year new cars have new registration combinations and BCA are a perfect outlet for dealerships to buy and sell unused forecourt stock. The brief asked for a fresh look at promoting BCA's remarketing service in a four-page mailer to be sent out to their database of dealerships. It was important that the cover drew attention specifically to the time of year and the benefit of using BCA. The requirement was for two concepts but in the end seven were delivered due to feverish creative thinking. This is not untypical as Steve notes "although we might be asked for a couple of ideas we quite often produce more. We believe that if we've had the ideas the client deserves to see |
them - and at no extra cost because it's been
our decision toproduce more than we were asked to". The relationship has now been firmly established and both BCA and Creative Republik are enjoying the start of what they hope will be a long-lasting and enjoyable future.
